A battle between PSG and Barcelona (and vice versa) is always considered a thriller and a major European football event. Thus far, in the last three occasions that these squads have dueled, the tally sheets have always rendered equal scores.

Paris Saint Germain

Although undefeated in their last 13 matches, PSG have made almost half of that streak pinned in draws—four of which were delivered from this month alone. Nevertheless, they remain a pitch juggernaut that other sides in Europe must be cautious of. They currently place in the middle part of the UEFA group table after drawing with Ajax in the debut performance for the Group stage. At the French domestic tournament, the Parisians only currently rank fourth (as of the eighth week of fixtures) in spite of winning the entire tilt last season.

Latest statistics and rankings render Barcelona as the leaders in two tables: one in the Spanish top-flight football and the other in Group F of the Champions League group round. The new season is apparently a magnificent period for Barca, especially that their recent results in all tournaments have so far been very striking. The side have already netted 30 goals in just nine fixtures, which include six-goal clean sheets against HJK, Leon, and most recently, Granada. Individually, talisman Leo Messi has just scored his 400th goal of his entire career with the brace he produced at Camp Nou.

Champions League betting tip: Barcelona will narrowly win against PSG, although a clean sheet could be quite difficult to achieve.
